Okay, so maybe Spain is totally out of money right now. But hey, they sure knew how to spend it when they had it. A few pictures from a recently opened park by the river. The entire park sits where the freeway used to be. Instead, the local government spent billions to bury the freeway in the same spot and put a beautiful park on top.
